Solidarity Nativity Scene

The General Curia of the Augustinian Recollects in Rome has launched this Christmas a “Natale missionario” (Missionary Nativity Scene). Along with the Nativity Scene, there is a video explaining the Heart Solidarity Campaign 2022/23 and the proceeds of the Project including the designation of funds, that includes, the schooling program for students at risk of social exclusion in Guatemala and Venezuela.

All those who visit the Nativity Scene during these holidays or attend the Eucharist in the chapel of the Curia will be able to learn about this project and donate if they wish to do so.  This audiovisual material is accompanied by an explanatory booklet that is given to each person. In addition, after each mass, it is explained to all the faithful.

The project to the schooling of students at risk of social exclusion in Venezuela and Guatemala seeks to guarantee access to quality education and continuity in the educational system for children who, for economic or socially precarious reasons, are unable to continue their studies.
